One of my favorite tales is the ancient Greek epos ‘The Odyssey’, the story of King Odysseus who was cursed by the gods, preventing him to get home for twenty years! The fact that this story is more than two thousand years old is just mind-boggling to me, how can a story survive that long? But that’s not the only thing that has stood the test of time, I have seen ancient Egyptian graves, neanderthal cave drawings, inca temples, and so much more. I love photographing these iconic monuments, it’s like you’re opening a small window in time, taking a small peak at how people used to live back then. But it’s not only history that interests me, it can also be beautiful buildings that just stand-out to me, if it’s beautiful it deserves to be photographed, whether it’s a beautiful local church or the ancient temples of Machu Picchu.
